Mom Harsha's Tips to Potty Training your child.... 1. Patience Accidents will happen To handle accidents: Stay calm.. Don't scold, discipline or shame your child. You might say, "You forgot this time. Next time you'll get to the bathroom sooner." Be prepared.  Keep a change of underwear and clothing handy. Do not make the child feel embarrassed/ashamed at all... 2. Role Play  Enact the toilet going scene with the doll or a teddy of the Child..  As if the doll or teddy wants to pee or poop, take the toy or doll to the pot or potty chair.. This will gradually make the child understand the concept of using the washroom to pee and potty. 3. Force will not work at all . If your child resists using the potty chair or toilet or isn't getting the hang of it within a few weeks, take a break.  Chances are he or she isn't ready yet. Pushing your child when he or she isn't ready can lead to a frustrating power struggle.  Try again later. If
