Winter is knocking on our doors...
Winter is liked by many but like any other season,
even this has its own demerits as it brings many
health-related problems.
The immunity of special children starts weakening, due to which their body catches the flu, cold, cough fever, and other diseases easily.
In this season Parents need to be a little careful about children's health.
Tips for winter :
• Physical activity increases the number of fighter cells in your child's body.
• Ensure your child gets plenty of sleep. Good sleep can increase the body's response to infections.
• Do not let your child shower in extremely hot water.
Excess heat can dry a child's skin.
• Soaking for too long can strip the tender skin of essential oils too.
• Body massages with sesame or mustard oil help moisten the skin.
• Apply good moisture at all times.
At night moisture is a must...
• Lips too become dry and chapped.
Home care for lips - Vaseline or Ghee (very little quantity)
• Avoid unnecessary antibiotics usage
• Avoid fried foods
• Drink warm water
Care of Woolen Clothes:-
~ Store your woolen dry and keep sun drying them.
This helps in taking out all the moisture out of them thus killing all the germs in them.
~ Sun drying also leaves the woolen warm and fluffy.
~ Woollens are more capable to attract and breed bacteria and dust particles in them.
| Hence regular brushing of the jackets and coats is important to keep them clean for a long time. |
