R Ruko Bhaagam bhag kaam karo
A mom's life is loaded with lots of work & responsibilities
We jangle between many roles in 24hr.
it's very important to take short breaks. These breaks help us refuel our energies a mom is like a clock that continuously keeps moving, the clock is a battery & a mom needs a battery to charge herself.
At times we skip our routine (food, rest, sleep) in order to keep up with the routine of the family. we usually ignore our health care, even if we are sick we take it very lightly.
According to my observation, moms are the last to visit a doctor when they are sick. The general practice is if a mom is unwell she will become a doctor herself and take medicine and tell - I'm fine it's nothing major to worry about.
Here I want the moms to realize that a healthy mom only can make a healthy family.
Ruko Bhaagam bhag kaam karo
E Enjoy - Simran jee le apni zindagi
Have you ever asked a mom - what is your favourite food? , which is your favourite place? - the stereotyped reply will be whatever my husband and family like.
Well this does not apply to millennial moms (pun intended)
Basically, a mom's life her likes, her choices, and her routine revolves around her family. this goes right for working moms and homemakers moms.
It's very important to add a happy quotient to your life.
The instructor given by the air hostess goes like this - wear your mask first and then help others, is as simple as this - only a happy mom can make a happy family.
L Leave it - Jaane bhi do yaaro
When it comes to moms leave is a hard word. Thoda yeh kar, lo thoda woh bhi kar lo, aare yeh baki hai, let me finish it.
Do not chase perfection - exist only in the dictionary. once you observed this mantra life will become very very easy.
Moms want everything spik and span, till the last minute of the day we are doing something or the other.
1. Managing the kitchen, grocery, support staff,
2. Managing the routine of family house members.
3. Managing children their demands, tantrums.... and so on...
All of the above-mentioned and un-mentioned things are on mom's shoulder, what to leave and what to take up. in this routine there is hardly any time for mom herself. that is why it is important to leave something, sometime in the day.
On a lighter note - A clean house is a sign of a wasted life. so it's okay to leave it sometimes.
Prioritize yourself
A Aaram Karo
Rest is needed for our mind, body, and soul. Rest refuels our energy tank.
A mom's dairy and her schedule generally do not have a word called to rest, I request to include this word and see its results.
A rested mind invites and accepts new ideas, creativity, and changes easily. A mind that takes rest breaks is fresh and patient.
A rested body finds new energy to face new situations that come across in a day.
A rested soul finds and connects with inner peace.
This inner peace helps us to be calm when situations are out of control.
Tips to rest : ( 5 Minutes thrice a day )
1) Close your eyes and sit on the comfortable chair, listen to your favourite song/ calming music
2, Sit on the balcony/terrace and watch nature, birds flying in the sky, people on the road, etc...
3. Swinging is the best stress-release therapy.
A well-rested mom is a happy mom.
X Xchange Duties
It takes two to tango.
Husband and wife are two wheels of a cycle. balance, sync, and coordination only will help the cycle to move properly.
This stereo setup of society says: Husbands earn and wives run ( home ) but things have changed now, and the roles also have also changed.
In today's world, the number of working women has increased and enhanced there should be a balance of duties signed by both parents.
This goes for homemakers too because bringing gen-z children means equal participation of both parents. exchange duties/roles and sharing responsibilities is the key to good parenting.
Tips to exchange duties/roles :
* Once in a while husband can babysit, bring groceries and help with small household chores
* Setting up the dining table
* Putting children to sleep
* Helping children to get ready for school
* Making them do their homework or projects
* Do not feel guilty to relax.
* A happy mom can only make a happy family
