Mental peace is the most important in today's fast life. There are many things that we deal with in 24 hours. We play multiple roles each day. We have targets to meet and our mind is continuously in work mode. At the end of the day, we are literally drained out.

We have to learn to balance our work, home duties, personal life, and self-life. Periodically we have to remind ourselves that striking balance is very important. If any one segment is overloaded it will eventually affect the other segment.

Trying to please everyone -

It's a human tendency and specifically a feminine tendency to have this continuous feeling of pleasing everyone.


We want that everyone around us should be happy and we try our best to create an environment that is happy always. 

Let's pause here and think that at what cost are we doing this ??

 
In this continuous practice of pleasing everyone, our physical, mental, and emotional balance is at stake.


Many times we go beyond to please everyone, its not possible to be in good books every time.


It's not selfish to think about your own self.


The practice of pleasing everyone will only take you for granted and underrate you and your respect. 


The thought of keeping everyone happy and pleased is good but practically not possible every time.

Overthinking - 

The best place and the worst place to keep us happy is our head. Every thought takes place first in the mind and then it is circulated further. 


Our mind is the hub that is responsible to make us happy or sad. A thought enters a mind and then the circus begins.


 In every situation, our mind has a pattern to think and this can be changed with practice. Our mood and emotional health solely depend on our thoughts. If we minutely observe our thoughts, we come to know that unknowing overthinking is a basic pattern of mostly everyone.


Overthinking means churning the same thought again and again in the mind. The episode has happened and gone but we keep on thinking, rethinking, thinking, and thinking about it again and again. This is toxic.


* It ruins our present moment

* It affects our mental and emotional health.

* Disrupt your sleep.


Fearing Change - 


Change is a universal phenomenon of nature and life. Every change that comes our way is difficult to accept.

Change brings a lot of insecurity and uncertainty to our minds.

Change moves us out of our comfort zone and this feeling creates fear.

To live a happy, sound, and contented life, it's important to quit these 3 things.

1. Trying to please everyone.
