Why Care for Plants?

Plants are our friends and help us in many ways! They give us oxygen, and food, and make our world look beautiful.


How Can We Care for Plants?

1. Watering: 

Give plants water to drink, just like we do!


2. Sunlight: 

Plants need sunlight to grow strong and healthy.

3. Soil: 

Plants need good soil to grow their roots.

4. Air: 

Plants need air to breathe, just like we do!

Why Is Caring for Plants Important?

1. Plants help us breathe.

2. Plants give us yummy fruits and veggies.

3. Plants make our world look beautiful.

How Can We Show Love to Plants?

1. Water them regularly.

2. Give them sunlight.

3. Keep their soil clean.

4. Talk to them nicely!

Here's a story for kindergarten students about Caring For Plants:

Emma's Little Garden

Emma loved playing in her backyard. One day, she decided to plant a little garden.


She planted seeds for flowers, tomatoes, and carrots. Emma watered them every day and gave them sunlight.


As the days went by, Emma's plants started to grow! She was so excited to see her flowers blooming and her tomatoes getting bigger.


But one day, Emma forgot to water her plants. They started to look sad and wilted.


Emma's mom reminded her to water them. Emma apologized to her plants and promised to take better care of them.


From then on, Emma made sure to water, give sunlight, and talk nicely to her plants. They grew strong and healthy, and Emma learned the importance of caring for them.
