Value Education - Courage
What is Courage?
Courage is when we feel scared or nervous, but we still do something brave.
Why is Courage Important?
Courage is important because:
1. It helps us try new things.
2. It makes us feel proud of ourselves.
3. It helps us make new friends.
4. It shows us that we can do things even if they seem hard.
How Can We Show Courage?
We can show courage in many ways:
1. Trying a new food or activity.
2. Speaking up when we need help.
3. Standing up for ourselves or a friend.
4. Being brave during a thunderstorm or when we're feeling scared.
5. Sharing our feelings and thoughts with others.
We Can Be Courageous!
We don't have to be big or strong to be courageous. We can be brave in our own special way!

Here's a story for kindergarten students about courage:
Little Lion's Big Roar
Once upon a time, in a savannah far, far away, there lived a little lion named Shera.
Shera loved to play with his friends, but he was always afraid to roar loudly.
One day, a big storm came into the jungle, and the wind started to howl.
Shera's friends were scared, and they didn't know what to do.
Shera knew he had to be brave, so he took a deep breath and let out a loud roar.
"ROAR!" he shouted.
The storm started to fade away, and the sun came out.
Shera's friends cheered and thanked him for being so brave.
Shera felt proud of himself and realized that he didn't have to be afraid to roar loudly.
From that day on, Shera became known as the bravest little lion in the jungle.
Questions for Discussion
