Baby Bumblebee - Finger Play


Finger Play:

1. Start with 5 fingers: 

Hold up 5 fingers to represent the baby bumblebee's legs.


2. Fly, fly, fly: 

Wiggle your fingers to mimic the bee flying.


3. Stung a man: 

Point one finger to represent the bee's stinger.


4. Ouch!: 

Make a painful face and say "Ouch!"


5. Baby bumblebee: 

Wiggle your fingers again to represent the bee flying away.


Rhyme:
(Sing to the traditional tune)

Baby bumblebee, flying high

Stung a man, and made him cry

Ouch! said the man, as he ran away

Baby bumblebee, flying every day!


Tips and Variations:

1. Use props: 

Use a toy bee or a picture of a bee to enhance the finger-play experience.


2. Create a story: 

Encourage children to create their own story about the baby bumblebee.


3. Act it out: 

Act out the rhyme with the children, using gestures and movements to mimic the bee's actions.
