FIVE GREEN AND SPECKLED FROGS
1. Start with 5 fingers:
Hold up 5 fingers to represent the 5 green and speckled frogs.
2. Sitting on a log:
Place your fingers on your arm or a pretend log.
3. Eat some bugs:
Wiggle your fingers to mimic the frogs eating bugs.
4. One jumped into the pool:
Fold down 1 finger to represent the frog that jumped into the pool.
5. Repeat with 4, 3, 2, 1:
Continue the finger play, folding down 1 finger at a time, until all the frogs have jumped into the pool.
Rhyme:
(Sing to the traditional tune)
Five green and speckled frogs,
Sitting on a log,
Eating some bugs,
One jumped into the pool,
Where it was cool.
