Wheels on the bus - Finger Play




1. Wheels: 

Rotate your hands in a circular motion to mimic the wheels turning.


2. Doors: 

Open and close your hands to mimic the doors opening and closing.


3. Wipers: 

Move your index fingers back and forth to mimic the windshield wipers.


4. Horns: 

Use your thumb and index finger to mimic honking a horn.


5. People: 

Move your fingers up and down to mimic people moving up and down.


6. Baby: 

Rock your hand back and forth to mimic a baby rocking.


7. Mama: 

Use your fingers to mimic a mother's gentle motion.


8. Driver: 

Move your hand in a steering motion to mimic the driver steering.


Rhyme:
(Sing to the traditional tune)

The wheels on the bus go round and round,

Round and round, round and round.

The wheels on the bus go round and round,

All through the town.


Tips and Variations:

1. Use props: 

Use toy buses or pictures of buses to enhance the finger play experience.


2. Create a story: 

Encourage children to create their own story about the bus.


3. Act it out:

 Act out the rhyme with the children, using gestures and movements to mimic the bus's actions.
